Pine Street Ramblers

“Good time acoustic roots & grass from the Sierra Foothills with an edge…shades of Townes van Zandt & Gram Parsons.”
Pine Street Ramblers are a four piece band from the Sierra Nevada foothills performing original and classic good time roots music. The Ramblers draw inspiration from a variety of musical styles, including folk, bluegrass, country, and good old-fashion roots rock. Their high energy sound is a refreshing take on the typical modern string-band; their live show is a raucous powerhouse that deftly showcases their songwriting prowess in the context of foot stompin’ good times and remarkable collective instrumental chops.
Band Members

Travis Sinel – acoustic guitar & vocals

JT Lawrence – mandolin, telecaster, fiddle & vocals

JD Gardemeyer – pedal steel, banjo, dobro & vocals

Dave Cox – string bass & vocals

Justin Farren & Lindsay White

Justin Farren is nothing short of a master craftsman painting lyrical pictures that are firmly rooted in the reality of day-to-day life. His delivery is humorous, thoughtful and engaging. His guitar playing is lively, intricate, and seemingly boundless. The Sacramento News & Review describes him as “The storyteller with an impeccable voice, a guitar and a headfull of funny, tender and engaging observation.”
Justin has toured extensively along the West Coast, through the Southwest and beyond. One highlight of these touring includes a series of shows opening for the nationally acclaimed folk artist David Wilcox in packed theaters throughout California, Oregon and Washington. Justin has also been honored to open for national artists including Bret Dennen, Hot Buttered Rum, Matt Costa, Jackie Greene, and John Vanderslice.  A few of Justin’s accolades include:  SWRFA Official Showcase Artist (2015),  2nd Place – Planet Bluegrass Folks Fest Competition (2013),  Honorable Mention – Planet Bluegrass Telluride Troubadour Competition (2013), Regional Finalist – NewSong Mountain Stage (2012), Song Of The Year – West Coast Songwriter (2012), Best Musician – Sacramento News & Review (2009 / 2010), Best Lyricist – Sacramento Magazine (2010)

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll call your therapist. Lindsay White is an award-winning songwriter based in San Diego, CA. With influences ranging from Dylan to Difranco, Lindsay’s songwriting has earned recognition from San Diego Songwriters Guild, Kerrville Folk Festival, Guitar World, and American Songwriter Magazine. Known for her work with former nationally touring folk/pop duo The Lovebirds, she is now pursuing her solo project and currently recording a follow up to her 2010 solo debut Tracks. Catch Lindsay in a listening room setting, and don’t forget to bring all your feels. Lindsay’s lyric-driven analysis on love and loss will move you to tears and tear you to shreds. She might just put your therapist out of business.

Willow Steps

The two longtime best friends living in Oakland, CA met working together at a local organic ice cream shop. With a shared passion for acoustic music and the instrument of voice, the musical duo formed effortlessly. After years of collaborating for fun, in January of 2015 they launched the official project, Willow Steps, by releasing a debut Single and throwing their first concert to a packed venue in downtown Oakland. Since then the band has put out two EP’s, released five music videos, were featured in the Bay Area’s renowned music blogs The Bay Bridged and SF Critic, have been interviewed on multiple radio stations, threw a successful Kickstarter campaign, performed at the Oakland Art & Soul Music Festival, and toured the Pacific West Coast. With a harmony-heavy modern Folk sound and simple lyrical themes of love and heartbreak, Willow Steps not only entertains but touches the hearts of listeners.

Quinn Hedges is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Although he is a versatile musician, having dabbled in a mesh of genres including folk, rock, and jazz, he considers himself a blues player at heart. Quinn started his musical journey in Delaware, where he was born and raised in a very musical family.

After three long years of working on “Slightly South of Stormy Clouds”, it was finally released! Following appearances and interviews on Good Day Sacramento, Fox 40 News, Insight on Capital Public Radio, The Placer Herald, and the Sacramento Business Journal, I was able to completely SELL OUT the event one week in advance!

Dawn & Hawkes

Miranda Dawn: writer, singer, guitarist
Chris Hawkes: writer, singer, guitarist

Miranda Dawn and Chris Hawkes met when he crossed an Austin barroom floor and asked her to dance. The first time they sang together they found a sound Texas Monthly calls “undeniably intimate”.

Their initial duo effort, Golden Heart,  climbed to No. 25 in Billboard’s Folk chart and landed at No. 2 in iTunes singer-songwriter albums and kicked off a whirlwind of constant cross-country touring with artists like Alison Krauss, Patty Griffin, Chris Issak, Old 97s, Robert Earl Keen, and showcases at festivals including Austin City Limits, Folk Alliance, AmericanaFest, South By Southwest and TEDx.

We couldn't get enough of them, and will follow them. Local Auburn group that has toured in Europe. Fortunately I got their CD! The "Den" is a great place to hang out in a nice atmosphere.

So far I've been to different open mics and Acoustic Blues Tuesdays. It's always a lot of fun. There's a wide range of talent & abilities from people who are helpful, supportive and non-judgemental. P.S. The sliders and chocolate chip cookies are killer!
